World’s most vulnerable: Sopheap and Tum from Cambodia

Your support can transform the lives of some of the world’s poorest and most vulnerable people.

And today, I want to share some incredible stories with you, so you can see first-hand the life-changing impact of your generosity.

Your support helps those living below the poverty line…like Sopheap and Tum from Cambodia.

We prioritise support for people like Sopheap and Tom who struggle to live on less than $1.90 per day.

This young couple lived in a makeshift home made of wood and bamboo, which as you can see, had open walls and no foundations.

Without adequate protection from the wind and rain, Sopheap and Tum would regularly fall ill with fever, headaches, colds and diarrhea.

After the birth of their baby, the couple’s biggest concern was the health of their newborn girl, especially as they often struggled to afford medicine.

But thanks to friends like you, Sopheap, Tom and baby Masa now live in a safe and secure family home, with Sopheap sharing…

“We won’t have to worry about the challenges like rain anymore and hopefully we will be more well. I hope to have the ability to earn more income to support our daughter and send her to school so she has better possibilities in the future.”
