Healthy homes

Our Healthy Homes program supports the improvement of health and wellbeing outcomes for low-income residents of social or community housing. Through home assessments, targeted repairs, and educational materials for occupants, the program addresses conditions most harmful to health and wellbeing: excessive heat and draughts, moisture and mould, energy inefficiency, and hygiene hazards. Delivered by Habitat Women, our social enterprise, we aim to improve living conditions, climate resilience, energy efficiency, and build the knowledge households need to maintain a safe and healthy home.
