Your support builds homes without barriers.

no ramp. no safe floor. no way to leave home on her own. for children with a disability, a barrier can just be the front door.

Sreydav’s family works hard to make sure she is taken care of, but without access to resources to make their home wheelchair-accessible, everyday activities like leaving the house were a challenge.

“Every day, I had to carry her out in the morning and bring her back in the evening,” her mother said.

Your compassion can empower families with safe and accessible homes, so that children like Sreydav have the freedom to move on their own terms.

build homes. remove barriers. restore independence.

no child should have to choose between shelter and independence.

Across Cambodia, homes are often built on stilts, with steep steps to withstand high heat and flooding. Sometimes without even flooring, or proper doors. For children with a disability, these homes can be inaccessible, and they are forced to depend on others for every trip in or out of their own home.

It is often families who earn a low income who have to work the hardest to find solutions. For family’s like Sreydav’s, who earn around $100 a month from small-scale farming, they don’t have access to ways to make their home safer for their daughter.

Thanks to caring people like you, Sreydav’s family were able to build an accessible brick home. Their daughter moves in and out in her wheelchair, on her own, ready for school without anyone's help, allowing her mother more time to grow vegetables and raise chickens for food and income.

Your help will create pathways to accessible, safe homes for families across Cambodia.

Your support means more children like Syredav can move freely, get to school on their own, and grow up with independence.
