“I decided to volunteer with Habitat for Humanity Australia because I wanted to support people that had been affected by the bushfires. This is an amazing way to learn new skills, meet new people, and really feel connected to the community and the ecosystems around you. Climate change in our country is an emergency and giving back to those people that are tangibly suffering is something that’s really important to me and a way that I can donate my time, energy and efforts to help them.”

Habitat for Humanity Australia acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the country on which we work, the peoples of the Eora Nation, and recognise their continuing connection to land, water, and culture. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging. We respectfully acknowledge the traditional owners of the lands and waters of Australia.

We are endorsed by the Australian Taxation Office as a Deductible Gift Recipient with charity status. Donations of $2 or more are tax deductible.
