Owner and Founder of BCI Media Group

Brief info

Matthias Krups founded BCI Media Group in 1998 and has overseen its expansion across Southeast Asia, Australia, New Zealand and most recently, the United States. In his leadership role, Matthias provides the overall strategic direction of the company whilst allowing his Co-CEOs the freedom to innovate, develop and guide the organisation into an increasingly technological and global future. Matthias holds an honors degree in business administration and a PhD in economics from the University of Muenster, Germany. Having spent three years in hotel development in the US Matthias embarked on a corporate career with the global media house Bertelsmann in Germany. As a member of the board of Bertelsmann’s Professional Information Division Matthias grew the group’s construction information business to an unchallenged leadership position in Europe. In 1998 Matthias followed his dream to build his own business from his new home base in Sydney, Australia.
