Andrew Hoyne is the Founder and Principal of Place Visioning®, Property Branding and Marketing agency Hoyne. He consults to major Australian, New Zealand and international property owners, developers and government agencies to create recognisable landmarks and destinations across Australasia.

As part of his enthusiastic work for various charities, Andrew has been the Editor and Creative Director of The Big Issue magazine and was a board member for 7 years. He was also a board member for a similar amount of time at Good Company, an initiative of The Pratt Foundation. Since Hoyne started in 1991, Andrew has been a committee member of various community and industry-based organisations. Hoyne have done pro-bono design work and in many instances also provided financial contributions to non-profit organisations including the Sacred Heart Mission, World Vision, The Bone Marrow Donor Institute, The Victorian Institute for the Blind, The Epilepsy Foundation, Children’s Protection Society and The School of Life.

Andrew is a proponent of the categorical link between good placemaking and significantly higher social and economic benefits. This passion that has led him to produce The Place Economy; a series of resource books which look at best practice placemaking around the world. 100% of the revenue from this is donated to Habitat for Humanity Australia.
