Join our home deposit campaign

Are you unsure when you’ll be able to travel again interstate or where you would want to go, but want to do something good for forgotten communities in Australia?

About the build

Our new campaign allows you to fundraise for a future build and put down a fundraising ‘deposit’ to help a family build back their home at a later date. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic State borders are quickly opening and closing with snap lockdowns effecting everyone’s travel plans. We want you to have something to look forward to while you do your part in keeping our community safe.

We are deeply grateful for your continued support, which is especially meaningful as the financial impact of the COVID-19 pandemic has multiplied so many families’ need for safe, stable housing. Because of your commitment, families can begin to create and regain the financial stability to live healthy, stable lives for generations to come.

Register for our Home Deposit campaign and you can begin fundraising from home. Then when interstate travel opens you can elect to participate in one of our available builds. Currently there is no deadline to when you can transfer so you can fundraise as long as you need and make a decision at a later date.

Itinerary

Friday:

Begin day one by meeting your team for breakfast at a charming local café. Then drive to meet with your first partner family either renovating damaged homes or clearing bush fire debris. After the work is finished for the day check in to your accommodation and unwind in the evening at the hotel and enjoy a glass of wine in town. We have some great suggestions for local restaurants which will be provided to you in a travel guide.

Saturday:

You will meet your team onsite this morning and spend day two with your second partner family either renovating damaged homes or clearing bush fire debris. For the evening the team will all meet up and share a farewell dinner together at a delicious local restaurant. As the day comes to a close you can relax at your hotel and reflect on what you have achieved as a team over the past two days.

Sunday:

This is a free day where you can either depart home or venture around the Southern Highlands with some fantastic local activities.
