The management of Habitat for Humanity Australia is led by our team of dedicated and passionate staff.

Ian Graham

Interim CEO

Ian has a professional accounting and management background. Ian was the CEO/MD of QBELMI (a major subsidiary of the QBE Group) for 21 years. He has also worked in senior management and finance roles in the AMP Group.

Dan Peyton

Head of Fundraising

Dan is responsible for developing and implementing effective fundraising campaigns for Individual Giving, Global Village and Communications teams using a range of channels including digital, direct mail, face-to-face and telephone. Dan has worked in fundraising for over 10 years for organisations such as UNICEF and The National Breast Cancer Foundation.

Chris Govers

Head of International Programs

Chris leads our International Programs team in delivering program partnerships, technical services and strategic alliances to support poverty reduction programs across Asia and the Pacific, including multi-year projects focused on shelter, water and sanitation, urban programming and disaster risk reduction.  He is a civil/environmental engineer with wide international academic and professional experience in projects, programs and policy across the public, private and non-profit sectors.

Megan Krolik

Regional Program Manager (Asia Pacific and Emergencies)

Megan manages our International Program projects in Cambodia, Vietnam, Philippines, Fiji and Vanuatu, as well as our regional Emergency Response programs. Megan has over ten years of international development experience and specialises in Disaster Risk Reduction and Disaster Response.

Zoe Nelson-Carey

Head of Partnerships

Zoé is responsible for developing and strengthening relationships with new and existing partners. She previously held roles in corporate fundraising with the Australian Cancer Research Foundation and in publishing sales with Hardie Grant Media.

Jesse Zarb

Global Village Manager

Jesse is the Global Village Manager and is responsible for the longer-term strategy, program development, delivery of programs and projects and ensuring that the team is compliant with international and industry standards. Jesse has worked for 10 years in the Not for profit sector, working with leading agencies in marketing communications, events management and recruitment.

Allison Corkhill

International Volunteer Coordinator

Allison works in the Global Village team and manages its schools and corporate builds. She previously worked for the United Nations Climate Change Secretariat in Bonn and in roles involving Executive Management assistance, conferencing and travel coordination.

Shrimant Acharya

Financial Manager

Shri looks after our finance and accounts. He is also the link between all five Australian affiliates and Habitat for Humanity International for financial reporting. Prior to joining our team, Shri lead the finance department at Interpro Australia, an IT recruitment company.

Arvin Chetty

Financial Accountant

Arvin is part of the Finance team. He performs the day to day transactional accounting processes and maintaining integrity with the reporting requirements. He also assists Global Village and Marketing teams with reconciliation of funds for events.

Lara Warren

Partnerships Manager

Lara manages some of Habitat’s largest corporate partnerships and is responsible for developing new business opportunities in Australia. She has previously held roles with ActionAid and the United Nations in East Africa and is currently completing a Masters of Sustainable Development.

Laura Bannerman

International Volunteer Coordinator

Laura works in the Global Village team and manages its open builds. Laura recently completed a Masters in Peace and Conflict Studies at Sydney University. She has interned with the United Nations and volunteered internationally in Palestine and Nepal with youth and development organisations

Louise Cutler

Donations Administrator

Lou’s role is to provide support and assistance to our wonderful donors and process all donations. She started with us as a volunteer and has worked on events such as our Gala Dinners and has participated in two Global Village builds in Nepal. Prior to joining our team, Lou traveled the world buying fabric for fashion designers.

Annie Pietersz

Philanthropy Manager

Annie manages our Philanthropy program and is responsible for building meaningful relationships with our wonderful supporters, helping them realise their philanthropic intentions. Annie has over 10 years’ experience working for some of Australia’s largest charities such as Mission Australia and the National Heart Foundation.

Roshni Abraham

Donor Care Administrator

Roshni manages our dedicated monthly donors known as HopeBuilders. She is responsible for processing donations and communicating with our donors.

Arjuna Biswas

Direct Marketing Manager

Arjuna manages the implementation & campaign creation of Habitat for Humanity’s multi-channel direct marketing & fundraising campaigns, supporting both acquisition & donor retention.

Her breadth of experience includes campaigning & activism, education programs, international development & community fundraising. She has previously held roles at Oxfam, National Breast Cancer Foundation and most recently White Ribbon Australia.

Habitat for Humanity Australia is governed by a voluntary Board. The individuals who make up the Board have diverse backgrounds and bring a range of skills and experience to assist in their role.
