With responsibility for Capital Markets, including leading the Investor Relations function, Kylie FitzGerald joined Whitehaven in February 2022. Prior to joining Whitehaven, Kylie had a long career with global building materials company, Boral. With a degree in Ceramic Engineering, Kylie first joined Boral in 1995 as an operational site manager in the Roofing business and was appointed Manager, Investor Relations & Corporate Affairs in 2001, a role she continued in until August 2010. In 2011 Kylie joined the GPT Group as Group Communications Manager before returning to Boral in July 2012 to again lead the Group Communications and Investor Relations functions. Kylie’s responsibilities included managing the company’s portfolio of community support programs, which saw her establish and build a program of long-term strategically aligned community partnerships. Kylie was a member of Habitat for Humanity Australia’s inaugural Women’s Build in 2001/02 and participated in a Global Village Build in Vietnam in 2019. She holds an honours degree in Ceramic Engineering from the University of NSW and an MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management.
