Work continues on two homes at Yea.

Building Program

Work continues at Yea on the two homes currently under construction. A team from Telstra has been helping with painting the external cladding. Several other corporate teams are scheduled over the coming weeks.

At Drouin teams have been working on the three homes under construction as we push to get these homes ready for hand-over to our newest partner families. More teams are scheduled also over the coming weeks.

Brush with Kindness Program

There has been a team from Melbourne University out on a BWK project at Buxton who have been helping clear fence lines on the property and assisting with gardening.

For information on any of these projects or if you wish to volunteer, please contact us on [email protected]

ReStore (Kilsyth)

Further large donations have been received by ReStore at Kilsyth, including storage shelving, furniture, industrial ladders/steps and industrial vacuum cleaners. Sales continue to climb and the number of people visiting the store has also been boosted by a monthly car boot sale which is held outside of ReStore.

Some of the goods are available through online channels like Graysonline each week. This also brings more customers to ReStore for pickups where we can meet and explain about the work of Habitat for Humanity and how every dollar helps change lives.

The Rosebud ReStore is also travelling well with the dedicated team continuing the ground work in the new premises. With more space the products are well laid out and on offer is a variety of goods for sale for our Mornington Peninsula customers.

You can change lives by donating, volunteering or supporting any of these projects. Please contact the Victorian Office or follow these links:
