Assisting the Sampson Flat Bushfire Recovery

The Sampson Flat fires burnt through more than 12,500 hectares – taking with it homes and belongings. Many families are coping with the stress of the impact on their lives, their homes and their communities.

We have been meeting with these families personally and evaluating their needs and how we can best assist their clean up.

We will have teams of volunteers in the fire affected area in coming weeks to start our recovery effort. Volunteers will be involved with helping with the clean-up, repair and rebuild through our Brush with Kindness Program.

Your gift of time or money through Habitat for Humanity enables us to help families recover from the devastation caused by fires.
