As our ‘Building Community Resilience’ Program Partner since 2014, Boral allows us to rebuild vulnerable communities prone to natural disasters, particularly in communities where Boral operates. Boral received our ‘Community Impact’ award at our 30th Anniversary Gala Dinner for helping us reach more than 2,200 families in Asia Pacific and in Australia have access to safe and decent shelter. |The SMEC Foundation has supported our disaster responses and disaster resiliency projects post cyclones in Vanuatu, Fiji, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh. They also support projects in Vietnam and Myanmar, helping improve access to water and sanitation facilities and train partner families in construction and finance skills.|
|Arup has been working with Habitat for more than 12 years in Australia and abroad, building stronger communities. Arup employees regularly attend on employee volunteering, pro bono technical advice. Arup has been partnering with us since 2005 across a number of projects in the Asia Pacific region. |Communities for Communities (C4C) is a community organisation based in Canada Bay, Sydney that aims to reach out to other communities and help them with their needs. C4C has supported Habitat projects since 2005 in the Philippines, Southern Vietnam, and more recently in Indonesia as part of our internally displaced persons housing projects.
